This is an easy to use and informative book about butterflies and moths. The identification portion of this book is organized based on natural habitat with each butterfly and moth presented with finely detailed, color illustrations. This book is useful as an identification guide and as a source of general knowledge as well as being fun for the butterfly enthusiast to read.

This Azureocereus Hertlingianus probably won't flower in my lifetime. It's currently around two feet tall, but would have to be closer to six feet tall to be mature enough to flower. (It grows about one inch a year. Do the math. I'd be around 100 years old by the time it's over six feet tall.) Even without flowering, this cactus is impressive. Actually, the skin is not blue. It's green like most cacti. This cactus produces a fine, talc-like powder called a farina that gives it a sky blue, matte surface.

Acer Palmatum "Higasayama" is one of the first Japanese Maples I got in trade with a friend. He got Bamboo in return. Japanese Maples are most beautiful when the leaves emerge in the Spring. Over time, sunlight fades the coloration of the leaves.
