"Anachronic Intersection"

This picture was originally a photograph of an Echinofossulocactus. That picture was a pretty good one, I've used it, and I doubt that anyone would be able to identify it from this version. I used a kaleidoscopic effect to mutate that photograph into this image. Both expressions, the real and the surreal, are fascinating to me.

"Convergence in False Essence"

This picture started out as a photograph of a Stapelia Nebrownii. I like how some of the plant's characteristics are still recognizable even after applying the kaleidoscopic effect.

95K
This is Papilio Crino from Sri Lanka.

107K
"Counter Giger"

This image is a kaleidoscopic rendering of the negative of a photograph of a Reedops Deckeri trilobite.

"The Tempest"

This image was created using kaleidoscopic and other textural effects. Originally, this was a photograph of a cactus flower.

73K
Papilio Lycophron is native to Peru.

"Wou Nishiki Eyes"

This is another kaleidoscopic image. This one was based on a photograph of a maple leaf.
